Are you ready to have more control of your food supply?  Mastering the art of chicken butchery is a great place to start!  In this one-day workshop, participants will learn everything necessary to successfully and humanely raise and butcher meat chickens. This is a hands-on experience and each student will have the opportunity to properly process and package two chickens that they will get to take home.  Students will leave with extensive knowledge and confidence to raise and process their own chicken flocks. Class begins promptly at 7:00am and concludes at 1:00pm.  A thirty minute lunch break is factored into class time. Lunch is not provided and we recommend packing a lunch to eat at the farm.

This is a beginner friendly class.  Participants do not need prior knowledge in butchery or raising chickens
